We present our environmentally friendly Snow Pellets Pads – an innovative product specially developed for horse hoof care. These versatile pellets are the ultimate solution for creating custom snow pads that effectively prevent snow accumulations and ice buildup under the hooves. With a low melting point of approximately 60 °C, they are easy to shape directly in the stable, and thanks to their reusability, you can melt and reshape them as needed. This reduces both waste and costs, perfect for environmentally conscious horse owners who want to combine practical hoof care with sustainability.

Reusable and Moldable: Simply place the pellets in hot water (approximately 60 °C) to soften them into a pliable mass. Shape them by hand directly against the sole and frog to create custom snow pads that fit perfectly and effectively prevent snow balls. Once cooled, they harden into a durable, shock-absorbing barrier – snap off, reheat, and reuse as needed for maximum flexibility.

Prepare the Hoof: Thoroughly clean the hoof with a hoof pick and dry it off. Apply Total Support (one application included) to the sole and frog. Set the hoof down and let excess powder from Total Support fall off. The hoof is now ready for the pellet pads.
Shape the Pad: Heat the pellets in water, scoop them up with a spoon, shape against the hoof’s sole and frog, and let them harden until the material is firm. Be careful to adapt the material to the sole and hoof – the pad must NOT be thicker than the shoe or uneven, to avoid pressure on the sole.
Contains: 2 dl (154g) Pellets Pads, sufficient for two pads on a big-sized hoof (approx. 16 x 16 cm), plus Total Support (one application included).
